Big Changes for 2020
Many thanks to all of you who have been in touch asking about our little family run Christmas Tree Farm and our plans for this year.
Our trees are looking amazing and the best they have ever been - lockdown certainly seems to have agreed with them!
As you can imagine, we have been working super hard to make plans for what the 'new normal' will be and our absolute priority is to make sure all our customers and staff are completely safe when they come to visit us and are working on site.
As some of you may be aware our elderly parents live on the working farm and are extremely vulnerable – our Mum especially, as she suffers from MS (Multiple Sclerosis). They have both been shielding since the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions were imposed and are still very cautious about going out and about. We therefore feel running our very busy business close to the house and outbuildings would be putting them at too much of a risk, especially as Winter approaches.
𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗦: So, this year we are going to relocate into the main tree plantation and main car park at the farm. All tree sales (either choosing a Christmas tree from the 1,000’s we have in the ground or from our large selection of freshly cut trees we will have on display) will take place up there. Our ever-popular Tipi Cafe, and new Tipi Christmas Shop will also be re-located there. We even have a new Takeaway Coffee Hut with lots of outdoor sheltered seating for everyone. We will be holding our sell-out Wreath Decorating Evenings and Santa’s Charity Grotto (in aid of MS) via online tickets again but with reduced capacity. And don't worry, some of the animals will be coming along too but will be in their own little paddock!
𝗕𝗨𝗦𝗬 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦: One other big change will be that on the busy weekends you 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗧 book a time slot to visit the farm – you will not be allowed to just turn up on the day. This will reduce queuing, ease crowds and ensure Government guidelines and social distancing are maintained
𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚: this year we will be opening our gates on Saturday the 14th November and will be updating you regularly with further details. We will also be opening with longer opening hours to help spread our everyone out ⭐️
More details will follow along with all the links to book your busy weekend time slot, Santa Tickets and Wreath Decorating evenings. So keep your eyes on our page! TICKETS ARE NOT AVAILABLE YET.
