Christmas at Welford
The festive season starts early at Welford; from choosing your own tree early to visiting Santa in his Grotto, we have everything ready to make Christmas extra special.
Tree tagging starts on 10th October or you can come and take one home from the 20th of November. Our Grotto and Storytime events run right through December.
You can also visit us as many times as you like! There's plenty for the family to enjoy right up to the big day itself, from feeding our reindeer or a wreath-making workshops to a warm drink and cake in the café whilst the kids play in the park.
Please note, you are required to book a complimentary car park ticket on our busy weekends which you can book here. These weekends are 14th-15th November, 21st-22nd November, 28th-29th November, 5th-6th December, 12th-13th December and 19th-20th December 2026.

Santa's Grotto
A magical one-to-one visit with Santa, plus a gift to treasure, and every penny raised goes to the Leicestershire MS Therapy Centre, a cause close to our hearts.
Santa's Grotto dates for 2026: 7th, 8th, 9th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 19th and 20th December.
Storytime with Santa
Snuggle in for a Christmas story read by Santa himself, then get stuck into decorating a gingerbread man, feeding the reindeer and a warming hot chocolate - a magical start to Christmas for little ones.
Real Christmas trees, grown right here
There's nothing like the smell of a real tree in the house over the festive season! Choose yours with the tag it early service, or come and pick one later on. However you like to do it, it's grown right here on the farm and chopped the day you collect.

A day out on our farm this Christmas
Welford isn't just about Christmas trees, you can pop in any time for something fun to do. Warm up in the café over hot chocolate and cake, say hello to the farm animals and reindeer, let the little ones loose in the play area, or have a browse in the shop. We've got live music on selected days too, so it's always worth checking what's on before you visit.
