Attractions This Christmas
Welford Christmas Tree Farm is a wonderfully festive destination for the whole family with our fabulous café, sparkly shop, farm animals and Santa's reindeer to say hello to. We also have lots of different children's activities, Santa's Grotto, Storytime with Santa, Wreath decorating, live music and lots more!
PLEASE NOTE: If you are planning on visiting us on the weekends, you will need a FREE entry ticket.
Our Christmas Shop
Come and find the perfect Christmas gift for yourself or others in our beautiful shop. Located in the barn with the café, you're welcome to have a browse, a shop and then a delicious treat afterwards.
For your Christmas trees, we stock a huge selection of beautiful decorations including Gisela Graham, Heaven Sends, Premier and local crafters. You can also browse our large selection of stands, lights and tree skirts.
We also have award winning fresh wreaths and table decorations that are hand-made on site with a choice of different styles. For more details or to make your own visit our dedicated Wreaths page.
The Barn Café
Once you've chosen your tree, come and warm up in our café. We offer:
- Hot & cold drinks - including the ever popular Luxury Hot Chocolate!
- A selection of alcoholic drinks
- Delicious locally produced homemade cakes, cupcakes and biscuits
- Light brunches and lunches
- Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available.
- Vegan and gluten free options available.
Open every day from 10th October until Christmas Eve.
Take Away Coffee Hut
We also have a Takeaway Coffee Hut based in the courtyard on busy weekends! This eases queuing on the busy days and if you'd like to wander round choosing a tree with a hot drink, then this is the perfect place to have a pit stop.
Meet The Animals
We have a variety of animal friends at the farm from pet pigs, rescue donkeys, home reared hens and Santa's reindeer!
Our special guests will be flying in on 5th December and staying until 22nd December. Not only can you say hello, but you can also feed them some Magic Moss to help with the flying on Christmas Eve...
Children's Activities
Facepainting
We have a facepainter in the Tipi on the following dates: 10th, 11th, 17th-31st October, 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, 29th November, 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th and 20th December.
Elf Hunt
Come and find our cheeky elves around the farm. Collect a sheet from the barn, and follow the trail just for fun. Everyday from 14th November.
Marshmallow Toasting
Enjoy some outdoor treats around the firepits every weekend from 21st November.
Festive Activity Sheet
Lots of fun Christmas puzzles and games to complete and play.
Post a letter to Santa
Send your special Christmas letters direct to the North Pole! Simply bring along your own letter when you visit us at any time over the festive period.
Food Vendors
There's plenty to keep you fed and warm while you're choosing your tree. Our festive food vendors will be joining us across the season, serving delicious seasonal food and drinks.
German Sausage Stall
Open 10th-11th Oct, 16th-18th Oct, 23rd-31st Oct, 1st Nov, 7th-8th Nov, 14th-15th Nov, 21st-22nd Nov, and 28th Nov until 20th Dec.
Crepe Van
Open 24th-31st Oct, 21st-22nd Nov, 28th-29th Nov, 5th-6th Dec, 12th-13th Dec, and 19th-20th Dec.
Christmas Shed
Find hot Belgian waffles, marshmallow toasting, mulled wine and mulled cider on 21st-22nd Nov, 28th-29th Nov, 5th-6th Dec, 12th-13th Dec, and 19th-20th Dec.
Live Music
The Naseby Band
We are very lucky to have these lovely people again this year to get everyone into the festive mood. They raise so much money for charity and we love supporting them! Catch them on 29th November 1.30-3pm.
Creaton Singers
To make it feel even more Christmassy everyone is invited to come along and listen to the choir singing Christmas Carols on 5th and 6th December 2-3.30pm.
Jordan and Harley
These two talented guys are an acoustic duo from Northampton and we love welcoming to the farm all year round for events. They will be here on 29th Nov 10-1pm and we know you'll love them as much as we do!
